ATSIC New South Wales Commisioner CLIFF FOLEY has praised the Redfern Community after their meeting with state police following the weekend death of Thomas Hickey. Mr Foley told Craig Egert that given the sensitivity surrounding the matter the community can hold up their heads high – and he also congratulated police on their restraint. He was also positive about talks between police and community members – looking to long-term solutions.
