This weekend, in the middle of a pandemic, the leadership of Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese will be tested with the by-election of the seat of Eden-Monaro.
It is the first by-election since Scott Morrison was elected Prime Minister in 2019, and the first one Anthony Albanese will face since becoming Opposition Leader, as well as the first since the COVID-19 outbreak.
Among constituents’ concerns are the summer bushfires, COVID-19 lockdowns, and the drought affecting the area.
