The Poetry in First Languages Project was devised by Red Room Poetry to encourage the creation of poetry in indigenous languages.
Workshops have been held on country in different areas of Australia.
The program celebrates, shares and preserves knowledge of First Nations language and culture through teaching school students from Years 3-11 poetry, music, dance and art.
