Prime Minister John Howard made a quick trip to the Northern Territory today, visiting the town of Alice Springs as well as Hermansburg. Hermansburg was one of the first communities visited by teams of doctors and police as part of the Federal Government’s intervention to tackle child abuse in remote communities.
