The 2020 bushfires devastated hectares of forests in regional areas across Queensland, and the wild weather and the pandemic exacerbated not only the environment, but Australians’ mental health overall. And that is how Trek2Reconnect was born.
Wild Mountains will start a journey from the Border Rangers in Queensland up to Kalbarri in Western Australia to raise awareness about the environment to schools and regional communities.
