The Northern Territory Police Force has released its anti-racism strategy this month as an approach to fair, respectful and culturally aware policing across the NT.

The strategy, set to kick off in 2027, is divided into four main statements: serve and protect, eliminate racism, be accountable, and represent and reflect the Territory.

Some of the commitments are trauma-informed policing and stronger recruitment, retention and leadership pathways for Aboriginal staff.
