NT Croc Fest choked for funds

It’s a highlight on the school calendar for tens of thousands of Indigenous children across Queensland, Western Australia, NSW, Victoria and South Australia. But this year, more than 2000 students from 62 schools will miss out on the Croc Festival in the Northern Territory. Organisers say the NT Government has pulled funds without explanation – leaving them short 100 thousand dollars. Croc Fest is an Indigenous youth event providing a creative outlet to improve self-esteem. Kerry Klimm spoke to Peter Sjoquist, Croc Fest Executive Producer.
