NSW nurses hold fourth strike in push for better conditions

The NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association held their fourth strike this year, demanding better working conditions and pay.
They have insisted that making a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio in every hospital mandatory will benefit both staff and patient outcomes. And there is substantial research backing this claim up.
Other states such as Victoria, Queensland, and the ACT have already implemented these measures. The union is now urging the NSW state government to follow suit.
