Protecting biodiversity is important, especially in Australia where we have many species of unique native flora and fauna.

New research has come out stating that by 2050, the world’s wilderness areas will suffer a severe loss of biodiversity – due to climate change and land clearing.

The study states that unless governments take measures to protect areas from land clearing and climate change there will be serious detrimental effects on wilderness areas.
