The Centre of Gambling Research at the ANU has looked at gambling addiction and its harmful impacts to create better treatment and interventions.

Phrases by gambling companies such as ‘gamble responsibly’ place the responsibility on individuals for the problems they experience as a result of gambling. More importantly, the research has concluded that more conversations need to be had around gambling and its impacts.
