A new deal between Australia and Indonesia is set to enhance our co-operation on dealing with people smuggling and trafficking, according to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. The deal has been signed with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono who addressed the Australian parliament for the first time this afternoon. The new implementation framework on people smuggling will make dealings between Australian and Indonesian police easier and will focus their efforts on disrupting the traffickers. But will what will this mean for refugees?
