Australian citizens protested the price of petrol by declaring today National No Petrol Day. An email circulated the nation, urging people to withhold buying petrol, as a sign of protest, with the idea of hitting the oil companies where it hurts. The Wire’s Samantha Regione had a chat with Bob Brown about whether No Petrol Day was effective and what to do about the rising cost of oil. Senator Brown also discussed his opinion of the Latham Diaries, and says not expect a Latham style biography from him anytime soon.
