Steve has an intellectual disability and is transgender. Before coming to terms with the differences he felt from society, he was pushed to the edge even contemplating taking his own life. Support services are slowly becoming more discriminating in their approach, and the Outing Disability project at Family Planning NSW is designed to dispel myths about disability and sexuality and show people that opportunites are there for them now.
