More Australians to access Covid-19 antiviral treatment

Millions of Australians are now eligible for Covid-19 antiviral medications after the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee recommended changes to the eligibility criteria.
The increase in access will ideally reduce the immense pressure that Australian hospital systems have been under over the past couple of years.
The Wire spoke to Dr Chris Moy from the Australian Medical Association to learn more about these antivirals.
