The NT Local Government conference held in Alice Springs put forward a number of issues in the Red Centre and Alice Springs surrounding the recent crime and violence experienced.

Kristy McBain, Federal Minister for Regional Development for Local Government and Territories attended the conference and whilst she was generally supportive, she stopped short of offering any additional funding to help improve local infrastructure.
