This week, the Australian Mental Health Prize winners were announced for contribution of their work in the mental health space.
The category of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, winner for 2023 is Director of the National Suicide Prevention and Trauma Recovery Project and Menang woman from Noongar, Perth, Megan Krakauer. The project has served as a lifeline to more than 25 000 people in need of support.
