Today Alexandrina’s mayor, Kym McHugh, went to Canberra to rally support for the lower lakes of the Mrray. Greens senator Sarah Hanson Young and Independent Senator Nick Xenophon joined him at a press conference that called for real action and a commonwealth take over of the Murray system.
