A UN report detailing the crimes committed by both sides of the Sri Lankan civil war has been leaked to the public. The report examined the operations of the Sri Lankan government and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam rebel group, and found both sides were guilty of exploiting refugees. The UN also found claims that war crimes committed in Sri Lanka were credible and needed to be investigated further.
