One of Australia’s leading academics has written a book for beginners on Indigenous culture. Larissa Behrendt, Professor of Law at the University of Technology in Sydney, says she constantly deals with politicians, bureaucrats and members of the public who lack a basic comprehension of Indigenous issues. This prompted her to step back and write a guide to combat the gaps in this fundamental knowledge so people better understand the need for change.
