“It is only fair that everyone makes a contribution,” Treasurer Joy Hockey said in his budget speech. This contribution will be challenging for every Australian but especially for women. Indigenous women, disabled women or women from different cultural backgrounds won’t be the only ones facing enormous financial problems. The budget will affect women from all walks of life.
