Organisations across the country are relieved to learn this week that funding for the National Partnership Agreement on Homelessness will be extended for a further two years. Although homelessness and housing groups are pleased with the result, there is still concern in the sector. Peak bodies, like advocacy group National Shelter, are still set to lose federal funding, leaving the future for the sector in doubt.
