In a surprise announcement national Greens leader Christine Milne announced her resignation from politics. She’ll be replaced by Victorian senator and public health specialist Dr Richard Di Natale. Ben Oquist who worked as Chief of Staff for the Greens under both Bob Brown and Christine Milne welcomes Di Natale as heralding a new era for the party.
