A new report launched this week shows how regional Australian women experience living in the region and what economic security they face.

The report, launched by the Brotherhood of St Laurence, took the small town of Seymour as a study case, since it’s characterised as a ‘forgotten’ town.

Women in regional areas face more challenges than financial security, such as violence, and low paying jobs.
