The community can help to raise awareness about mental health issues as well.

The Australian Mental Health Advisory Group launched the Australian Mental Health Prize in 2015 to recognise Australians who have greatly contributed to raise awareness about mental health issues. With staggering statistics of 1 in 4 Australians aged 16-24 have had any type of mental health issues, and the support of the government and groups on tackling the problem, it is still a major concern in Australia. The advisory group have announced the six finalists to win the award, which will be announced on the 20 November in Sydney.
