The NSW-Victoria border will close from midnight Tuesday to prevent interstate coronavirus spread as Victoria faces 127 new cases.

Regional tourism in NSW will “need all the help it can get” as visitor numbers get set to drop. the Sydney Business Chamber said.

The chamber’s Executive Director Katherine O’Regan said the close will particularly hit business in small towns recovering from the Black Summer Bushfires.
