The ALP today announced its policy to develop northern Australia, following the Coalition’s announcement of a similar policy in June. Labor will look at cutting the company tax rate in the NT, as well as an expansion of the Ord River dam. However, some Territorians say the policy is not feasible and that politicians don’t understand the region.
