Domestic violence curriculum introduced to schools

From next year New South Wales students in years seven to ten will be taught what is domestic violence, and right now a handful of Victorian schools are teaching their students all about Respectful Relationships. Yet those who work closely with students experiencing violence and their teachers aren’t convinced this is necessarily the best way to go.

As the conversation around domestic violence evolves the focus is now shifting to how we prevent it from happening. Suggestions have been made that the best way to do this is by targeting school students.
