They’re one of the last independent voices in an increasingly homogenized media, but the bright lights of community television are going out, one by one. Whilst commercial and public broadcasters received funding and timetable support for the transition to digital- community television has been left out of the loop. And as their audiences buy new, digital TV sets, that don’t pick up analogue transmission, community television is steadily losing its audience
