Doctors in Victoria are urging the state government to put a lid on coal fired power in the La Trobe Valley, as Adani prepares to dig up a record amount of coal in Queensland.
They have handed in a submission to the Victorian Energy Minister, Lily D’Ambrosio, calling for immediate action. With 84 per cent of Victoria fired by dirty coal, Doctors for the Environment want an end to coal pollution all together.
