Iran is the next country to be targeted by the United States for harbouring uranium-friendly programs. Currently, a diplomatic strategy with the country is underway with major players in the UN supporting a peaceful resolution. However, this option will expire June 30 of this year and the United States are preparing to act militarily if Iran doesn’t comply. Former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter says that the US are also planning to extend their campaign into Syria and Saudi Arabia.
