As the scorecard of environmental problems seems to grow unabated, it’s heartening to know that the great-grandaddy of ecological sustainability, Dr David Suzuki, retains his passion. Dr Suzuki’s worked for more than thirty years as an advocate for the environment, and in that time, he’s directed plenty of criticism for the corporate world’s practices. But last night he challenged Sydney’s business elite to lead the way into a new way of doing business … where the bottom line is one that recognises our very real need for the environment … at a lavish dinner hosted by the Australia-Israel Chamber of Comerce.
