Dud Perth Quarantine leaves health workers browned off

Across the nation, states are setting-up returning travellers in some of the nation’s poshest hotels, (the Swiss, Crown, Sheraton…) for a strict 2-week quarantine procedure aimed at reducing spread of the coronavirus outbreak – or so it seems.

But brother and sister Andrew and Maria McMahon, health workers currently in quarantine at The Crown hotel in Perth, say that from a health perspective, their quarantine experience is ‘abysmal’. They say travellers did not receive any health checks or coronavirus tests upon arrival, despite showing symptoms, and despite exiting a cruise ship that had known cases of Covid-19 onboard.
