How would you go if you were challenged to stay away from Coles and Woollies for a month and only shop from smaller stores and independent producers? That is the challenge laid down by Supermarket Free month and for the hardcore ‘Freegans’ they have upped the ante to not shop at any of the big two’s subsidiary stores either. For some people it is already a way of life and for others it could take a major turn around to change shopping habits.
