In 2008 the Rudd Government set out to close the gap, but seven years there is still a long way to go according to the latest report released today. With many of the targets not on track Prime Minister Tony Abbott has said the results are “profoundly disappointing”. What can be done and whose responsibility is it to ensure longer lives for our Indigenous population?
