Controversy is growing over the proposed Tillegra Dam as climate scientists reveal predictions that challenge state planning. The NSW Government and the Hunter Water Corporation are defending the construction as a measure for future drought security. But scientists say climate change will bring higher rainfall and less chance of drought to the region.
