Low wages and short shifts make it hard for cleaners to make ends meet, and the hours they work are less than family friendly. Cleaners are currently campaigning for better wages and conditions, reaching out to the building tenants and city workers whose offices they clean. Today they took their campaign to the streets of Adelaide with a double-decker bus, and that’s where The Wire caught up with them.
