Legal action against the South Australian Government is being launched by about half of 72 women whose breast cancer’s were overlooked by Breast Screen SA. A review into the screening practices of Breast Screen SA was triggered by lower than expected cancer detection rates, which led to a reviewing of more than 53 000 mammograms.
