Sex education is officially supposed to be taught in Chinese high schools.

But many Chinese university students now living and studying in Australia say that comprehensive lessons in their home country are not commonplace.

Many health professionals are calling for universities to step in and educate their international students to help prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
