China solar-brates new artificial sun milestone

Researchers from China’s Hefei Institutes of Physical Sciences have reached a new milestone in their quest to develop an artificial sun.
The technology designed to replicate the energy conversion process of our natural sun reached temperatures up to 100 million degrees Celsius, making it six times hotter than its counterpart.
The news comes after China announced its plans last month to launch three artificial moons into space by 2020.
