An Australia – Indonesia Ministerial Forum kicked off today in Canberra. It will cement an action plan for The Lombock Treaty – a security agreement between us and our closest neighbor. But the wording of the treaty effectively makes Australia an ally of Indonesia – that’s involved in military conflict and human rights abuse in West Papua.
