Over two million Australians are currently supporting a loved one with depression, yet many of them feel very isolated and alone. Research shows they often feel frustrated, rejected and unable to Appropriate help in their community. This serious social issue is the subject of A new book, released today in Sydney. Entitled “Back from the Brink Too” , the book by author Graeme Cowan, offer research and advice from interviews he did with over 300 people living with depression and 289 caregivers. The book was launched by Lucy Brodgen, wife of former NSW Liberal politician John Brodgen, who spoke about her husbands battle with clinical depression.
