Yesterday on The Wire we heard the story of Adelaide surgeon Craig Jurisevic whose book “Blood on my hands” describes his experiences as volunteer doctor in the Kosovo war of 1999 and how he ended up fighting with the Kosovo Liberation Army. Yesterday he told Catherine Zengerer how he came to commit a mercy killing of a Kosovo woman who had been mortally wounded by Serb soldiers. Today we hear about how he feels about that decision ten years on, and whether he would do the same thing again…
