Today is Breast Cancer Awareness or Pink Ribbon Day. The familiar words of health advice are universal – ‘Everything in Moderation’. This includes the amount of alcohol we consume. The dangers of excessive drinking are often associated with liver disease. However many women are perhaps less aware of the link to breast cancer. With young women now drinking more and as much as men, are they at an increased risk to this deadly disease?
