A new research conducted by RMIT found out people worldwide are using binaural beats more than expected, with some unexpected results as well.
A binaural beat is an illusionary tone created by the brain when presenting two tones separately to each ear that slightly differ in their frequency. These beats offer some reactions to the brain.
While they are widely used for relaxation or focus, some survey participants say they were trying to get a similar effect to psychedelic drugs.
