In the midst of a national water crisis, SA government has promised a $1 billion desalination plant. But the plant is facing much public criticism. Its sustainability, environmental impact and how it will be powered are all up for debate. Today SA Greens MP Mark Parnell announced that SA Premier Mike Rann’s promise to power the plant using renewable energy is a lie.
