Australians don’t take care of their hearing health: report

Today is World Hearing Day, and a new survey found out 88 per cent of Australians over 40 are more concerned about their eyesight fading than their hearing.

It also found out there’s a stigma around wearing a hearing aid, with 42 per cent of the survey participants expressing they would not wear any, even when diagnosed with a hearing test.

When losing our hearing, it could impact our relationships, social life, and career.
