Australia unemployment: second worst in Asia-Pacific

According to the International Monetary Fund, Australia’s unemployment rates are expected to become the worst in the Asia-Pacific apart from the Philippines. Australia has been undergoing a 12-year unemployment high, varying from 6.4 per cent to 6.1 per cent. Some economists think that this high unemployment rate could be due to Australia’s world-class statistic gathering, which is better than many other countries in the Asia-Pacific.
