Australia on track to exceed renewables target

The Clean energy regulator has released data today showing we will not only meet but will likely exceed the 2020 renewable energy target.
The regulator says we’re currently on target to have 6553 Mega Watts of electricity come from renewable sources like solar and wind in two years time.
This is 153 Mega Watts above the government’s target.
