Australia indirectly funding fossil fuels with MDBs: report

A new report from ActionAid Australia and Jubilee Australia revealed Australia is indirectly investing in fossil fuels through its aid program.

Australia’s share of the fossil fuel financing is estimated up to 828 million dollars through several multilateral development banks, such as the World Bank.

The report released recommendations Australia can do to demand these banks to reduce its investments in these projects.
