In a ‘tit for tat’ move, Foreign Minister Stephen Smith has just announced that Australia has expelled Fiji’s Acting High Commissioner. KAMLESH ARYA in retaliation for a similar move by the Pacific Islands regime. Yesterday Fiji’s military commander Commodore Frank Bainimarama ordered the top diplomats from Australia and New Zealand out of the country within 24 hours. But will our response help solve what is now a stand-off between the two countries?
